Dear Creator,
I went quiet the last 3 months because I’ve been in the quietest rooms making the biggest deals.
Let me explain.
I’ve been in rooms I can’t always talk about, a private strategy session with a 30-million-subscriber creator in Dubai, preliminary M&A conversations with private equity, and two major publishers asking about the book I’m writing on creator business transformation and creator exits.
What I found in those rooms scared me. And I think it should scare you too.

When I spoke at the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai, I met a huge creator: 30 million subscribers, massive cash flow, brand deals most creators would trade their soul for, had built what I now call a Digital Coal Mine.
Impressive from the outside. Suffocating from the inside.
When I audited the actual business, the hard truth was this: if they stop filming for six months, the enterprise value goes to zero. No IP, not even an email list. If they lose their YouTube channel, everything vanishes overnight.
They don’t own a business. They own a job.
So what’s the solve to get off the hamster wheel?
I’ve spent the last year helping one of my clients solve exactly that problem.
Eighteen months ago his channel was valued at $35 million. I told him to not sell, that he would hit $100M in 3 years. I was wrong.
We hit that number in less than a year later, we’re in conversations with two groups of investment bankers at a $100 million valuation.
Not because he worked harder.
Because we moved him from content factory to tech-enabled asset: owned IP, proprietary software, a user base that generates data. Private equity doesn’t buy your personality. They buy your Loop. His app can be sold off for $30-40M on its own.
I broke down exactly how we did it across two videos. If you haven’t watched them, they’re worth your time. In them I also introduced the Creator Exit Scorecards. That thousands of creators have accessed.
But here’s what the 3,000 Scorecard responses taught me.
The creators reaching out aren’t the ones with 10 million subscribers planning five-year exits. They’re the ones with 500K to 2 million…doing real money, exhausted, starting to realize they’ve built a prison. A hamster wheel.
They know something is wrong. They just don’t have the language for it yet.
Content is King. IP is Queen. And the Queen runs the board.
Before you build the empire, lock the door.
Here’s the most common thing I see derail creators the moment they start gaining real traction: someone files a trademark on their brand name first.
It happens the moment your business becomes worth noticing. A trademark troll, or worse, a competitor, files on your handle, your logo, your show title. And suddenly you’re either paying to fight it or rebranding from scratch. I’ve had three clients go through forced rebrands in the last year alone. The cost in lost brand equity, legal fees, and audience confusion? Six figures minimum, every time.
And if you think it only happens to small creators, it doesn’t.
MrBeast is currently fighting a federal lawsuit from Russell Brands, the company behind Spalding, because he sold a basketball with “Beast” on it. Spalding has owned that mark for sporting goods since 2002.
A $100+ million empire, still getting sued over a conflict nobody caught before the product launched.
Trademark conflicts don’t care how big you are. They care whether someone got there first.
You cannot exit a business you don’t legally own. And right now, if you haven’t filed, you don’t legally own your name.
I’m opening 10 slots this week to lock your name before Q2: $3,000, full knockout search included. First come, first served. These close Friday.
When the slots are gone, they’re gone.
